Neurovirtual

Regulatory information

Effective and last updated September 12, 2026

1. Intended users and use

Neurovirtual Cloud is intended for authorized professional and institutional users working with sleep, EEG, and related physiological studies. Use is limited to the purposes permitted by the applicable agreement and local law. Cloud is not intended for patient self-diagnosis, emergency care, or time-critical monitoring.

2. Research-only analysis

Automated analysis, including ScoreAssist, is provided for research and evaluation. Its scores, classifications, event markings, and other outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not use these outputs for diagnosis, screening, treatment, monitoring, or patient management, or include them in a clinical report or patient medical record. Reviewing or editing an automated output does not by itself authorize clinical use.

3. Regulatory status

The research analysis features are not offered as cleared or approved medical-device functions. A pending submission, an available feature, payment for access, or a research label does not establish authorization or an exemption. Required authorizations depend on the function, intended use, research protocol, and country. Obtain written confirmation of the permitted use before starting a regulated activity.

4. Separate products

Neurovirtual hardware and separately authorized software have their own labeling and conditions of use. Their authorizations and quality-system certifications do not extend automatically to Neurovirtual Cloud.

5. Research and data responsibilities

Your organization must obtain required research and ethics approvals, establish a lawful basis for the data it supplies, and supervise its users. Research use does not waive privacy obligations. Follow the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before uploading health information. Neurovirtual remains responsible for the obligations that applicable law places on it.

6. Questions and safety concerns

Contact info@neurovirtual.com before use if a function's permitted purpose or status is unclear. Report suspected malfunctions, materially incorrect outputs, or safety concerns promptly to support@neurovirtual.com. Do not send patient records or other sensitive information in an initial email.
